Bringing together partners from across Europe, the workshop focused on significant project milestones, methodological development, and collaborative planning as SELINA moves into the next phase of implementation.
• SELINA at the 11th World ESP Conference in Australia - SELINA partners shared research findings and engaged with the international ecosystem services community at the 11th World ESP Conference. The newsletter highlights SELINA’s contributions to global discussions on nature-based solutions, policy integration, and emerging scientific advancements.
• Participation in the 32nd ICCB Conference - Learn more about SELINA’s presence at the 32nd International Congress for Conservation Biology, where project members presented their work to a global audience of conservation scientists and practitioners.
• Introducing the New Communities of Practice Website Section - We are pleased to launch a new section on the SELINA website dedicated to Communities of Practice (CoP). This space showcases updates, materials, and insights from national and regional CoP activities, making it easier to follow their progress and outcomes.
• 2nd Bulgarian Community of Practice Meeting - This issue includes highlights from Bulgaria’s second CoP meeting, which brought together local stakeholders to discuss data, methods, and opportunities for applying ecosystem services approaches in national planning and policy.
• New Demonstration Project Interview - A new interview from one of SELINA’s Demonstration Projects is now available, offering fresh perspectives on practical applications of ecosystem services in real-world contexts. The conversation sheds light on challenges, lessons learned, and innovations emerging from on-the-ground project work.
